Senior Account Manager | Renewals, Growth & Client Success | Fast-Scaling Payments Platform
Salary
Up to £70,000 base.
Location
London, hybrid (3-4 days a week in the office during your three month probation period, reducing to a minimum of one day a week after that)
This is a point-of-sale and payments platform built specifically for multi-vendor venues: places where several different businesses trade under one roof and revenue has to be split and reconciled between them. Think food halls, festivals, stadiums, arenas and theatres. Around 40 people, a product and engineering team of roughly 20 including 12 developers, commercial functions based in London. The platform processes £185 million a year and the target is a billion within three years. It's backed by angel investors plus a recent US private equity investment, growing at roughly 3x year on year, and expanding into the US, Australia and, from next year, Europe.
Non-Negotiables
- 5+ years in account management, customer success or renewals within POS, payments or SaaS platforms
- Background working with, or selling into, live events or multi-vendor venues (festivals, stadiums, arenas, theatres, food halls)
- Proven renewal and upsell track record across a sizeable client book
- Highly organised: comfortable owning invoicing, reporting and reference management for 200+ accounts solo
- Commercially astute with strong stakeholder handling, from small independent operators to large venue owners

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Join / Projects
You’d be the first dedicated senior account manager the business has had, with real scope to shape how the function runs as the client base keeps growing past 200.
The platform processes £185 million a year and is targeting a billion within three years, backed by angel investors and a recent US private equity investment, with the business expanding into the US, Australia and Europe.
Senior hires go on stock options rather than commission. The current sales cohort is on track to roughly double their base package in payout over three years once options vest against target. You'd also sit close to the CEO from day one, with direct visibility over commercial strategy rather than several layers removed from it.
Employee Benefits
- A track record of strong annual pay progression, historically 10-20% a year
- WFH options
- Pension
