Senior Account Manager – Private Markets Data & AI

📍 Location: London (Mayfair) / Hybrid: 5 days in-office 💷 Compensation: £80k–£100k base + uncapped commission | OTE: up to £150k

About the Role

"The Bloomberg for private markets", a bootstrapped, profitable, and fast-growing AI data platform, is hiring its first-ever dedicated Senior Account Manager.

This is a founding-level, post-sales role reporting directly to the CEO. You won’t be inheriting a process—you’ll be writing it from scratch.

With 300+ paying VC and private equity clients and ~60% of the way to £10M ARR, this is a rare opportunity to build the entire post-sales engine from the ground up alongside the founders.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own the full commercial relationship across 300+ investment-firm accounts, driving retention, reducing churn, and closing expansion revenue
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and strategic conversations with senior stakeholders (Partners, Principals, and Analysts at top-tier funds)
  • Execute a 360 account management motion: renewals, cross-sells & upsells
  • Leverage AI tools to manage, prioritise, and surface revenue opportunities across the portfolio
  • Build repeatable post-sales processes and frameworks from scratch, collaborating with founders

Required Skills & Experience

Essential: ✅ 2–5 years in B2B SaaS Account Management, managing £20k+ ACV accounts ✅ 1+ year in a B2B SaaS startup AM role (pre-Series B), with bootstrapped growth – financial services experience is a strong plus ✅ Proven track record managing 100+ accounts with full retention and upsell ownership ✅ Genuinely AI-driven sales approach – you actually use AI tools in your daily workflow ✅ Experience selling to or managing financial services / investor clients ✅ Technical fluency with data/SaaS products – you can diagnose value gaps and speak credibly to sophisticated buyers ✅ Executive presence with the gravitas to hold the room with senior investment professionals
