Role Description
The Senior Account Manager – Commercial & Education will manage and grow key accounts within the commercial and education AV sectors, focusing on building long-term relationships and driving revenue. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Swindon, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

- Identifying new business opportunities
- Promoting RGB’s portfolio of AV and automation solutions
- Preparing proposals and quotations
- Overseeing the sales cycle from prospecting through to closing
Collaboration and Support
- Collaborating closely with internal technical, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth project delivery and high customer satisfaction
- Providing product guidance
- Attending client meetings and industry events
- Maintaining accurate account records and forecasts
Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management or sales within AV, IT, or related technology sectors, ideally with exposure to commercial and education markets.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and grow strategic accounts.
- Solid understanding of audio-visual, networking, and control solutions, with the ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
- Competence in using CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and standard office software to manage pipelines and account activity.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a professional and collaborative approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to customer sites and events as required.
- Experience working with distributors, integrators, or manufacturers in the AV or technology space is highly beneficial.
- Valid right to work in the UK; a relevant qualification in business, sales, or technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
