About LEEA
The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) is the global authority on lifting standards. For over 80 years, LEEA has worked with industry to improve safety, technical excellence and professionalism across lifting operations worldwide, supporting members through world-class training, technical guidance, accreditation and advocacy.
About the Role
We're now looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to take ownership of an exciting new membership proposition designed specifically for organisations that own and operate lifting equipment in safety-critical industries. This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up, combining business development, strategic account management and consultative solution selling within a highly respected international organisation.
The End User Senior Account Manager owns LEEA's End User Grade end to end, the membership category built for the organisations that own and operate lifting equipment in safety-critical environments, across sectors such as construction, energy, ports, utilities, manufacturing and logistics.
This is a senior, experienced hire for someone who can own the whole process, front to back: identifying and engaging large end-user organisations, leading consultative discovery, shaping and closing proposals, onboarding new members, and growing those relationships over the long term.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Unlike LEEA's established supply-side membership, the end-user audience is new territory, different buyers, longer and more complex sales cycles, and footprints that often span multiple sites and countries. It needs a self-directed professional who can operate with autonomy, build credibility with senior stakeholders, and translate LEEA's standards, training and assurance into clear organisational value. The role carries dual accountability for both membership acquisition and training and accreditation revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow LEEA's End User Membership proposition.
- Identify, engage and win new business with large organisations.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to onboarding.
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and procurement teams.
- Develop opportunities for training, accreditation and professional development services.
- Grow and retain key accounts through strategic relationship management.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and deliver against commercial targets.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across business development, technical, marketing and regional teams.
About You
You'll bring:
- A strong background in consultative B2B sales or senior account management.
- Experience managing the full sales lifecycle within complex organisations.
- Success selling services, solutions or membership-based offerings rather than physical products.
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and managing longer, consultative sales processes.
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK, with occasional international travel.
