Role Overview

The Senior Account Manager will play an important role in overseeing a major multinational client’s Formula 1 partnership, with a strong focus on hospitality delivery and partnership management. Acting as the primary day-to-day client lead, this role is pivotal in ensuring the partnership delivers measurable business value, deepens engagement, and upholds Right Formula’s commitment to exceptional delivery standards.

With a strong blend of strategic thinking, client servicing, and operational leadership, the Senior Account Manager will oversee project planning, budget management, and stakeholder coordination while mentoring junior team members. The role requires a confident, commercially minded individual capable of translating partnership objectives into actionable programmes that elevate both brand and business performance.

The role will be based at Right Formula’s offices in Battersea, London, and will require extensive international travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the client, managing key relationships and ensuring seamless communication across all stakeholders
  • Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the client’s partnership and hospitality programmes to ensure all activations deliver against commercial and brand objectives
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple premium hospitality experiences, including logistics, guest communications, gifting and collateral, supplier and venue management, HSSE, and on-site execution
  • Drive partnership strategy implementation, ensuring all contractual rights and assets are fully leveraged to maximise value and performance
  • Lead the creation and management of annual partnership plans, activation calendars, and status trackers
  • Oversee budget management, including forecasting, supplier negotiation, cost control, and reconciliation, ensuring financial accuracy across all projects
  • Manage and mentor Account Managers and Executives, providing direction, feedback, and professional development support
  • Produce and present post-event reports and performance evaluations, incorporating data, insights, and recommendations for future optimisation
  • Provide strategic input and support to the Senior Account Director on long-term client growth, renewal discussions, and commercial opportunities
  • Represent Right Formula at events and client meetings, embodying the agency’s values and commitment to excellence

Skills & Experience Required

  • Significant experience in client, agency, or rights-holder account management within sports, events, or partnership marketing
  • Proven track record managing high-profile brand partnerships and global hospitality programmes within Formula 1
  • Strong understanding of sponsorship rights, hospitality operations, and partnership performance metrics
  • Demonstrated success in strategic account leadership, including budget management, client development, and programme optimisation
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and teams
  • Confident communicator, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in budget ownership, forecasting, and reporting
  • Creative and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate client goals into impactful activation ideas and measurable results
  • High attention to detail, with a calm, solution-focused approach under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and relevant project management platforms
  • A natural leader and team player, with a passion for motorsport, brand partnerships, and delivering exceptional experiences
