Our Senior Account Managers provide clients with high-quality service through effective client management including account, financial and project management. They ensure proper and effective communication around the overall financial health of their assigned accounts and ensure revenue targets are being met while adhering to relevant timelines, guidelines and compliance measures. They partner very closely with team Account Directors.

Senior Account Managers will:
Be client facing on calls, meetings and live events when required Manage and continuously build long-standing relationships with clients for their assigned accounts Manage people and multiple projects within a fast-paced agency environment Lead and/or participate in business development efforts including RFI and RFP development and pitches Provide line management and/or mentoring of junior personnel Demonstrate and encourage the company's best practices, culture and company processes across team members Manage internal budget tracker (with Account Executive) and approve external budget tracker for client Initiate and develop project budgets in consultation with account team where appropriate Update the IRIS system with new project forecasts and manage the project number allocation and budgeting procedures Monitor project budgets, identifying potential issues - under/over-spend, changes in specification, etc. - and calls out appropriate alerts. Collaborate with team members ensuring projects are properly tracked; status is ongoing and updates are sent to the client Lead internal discussions regarding the overall health of assigned accounts in finance meetings Anticipate client reactions to issues/circumstances; be solution-ready and proactive about addressing the best outcome to the client and Prime Have an interest in learning new therapy areas and technologies Attend and actively contribute to all internal management and account team meetings (commercial team meetings, weekly project status meetings, monthly account meetings, quarterly account planning meetings) to drive deliverables and identify new business opportunities Ensure deliverables on assigned accounts are in line with client expectations while being high-quality, within budget, on time and compliant

Requirements
5 years of relevant experience working for a pharmaceutical company, medical education/marketing/advertising or communications agency or similar Strong industry experience and understanding of pharma client needs, market, pipeline, etc. to offer innovated deliverables Ability to co-ordinate the delivery of multiple projects within account with a high degree of autonomy Strong project management and project delivery skills Excellent relationship development skills both internally and with client handling/networking Demeanor that inspires and motivates account/project teams Strategic understanding of project / account objectives and contribution to strategic account planning Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management and adherence to deadlines Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing Polished presentation skills; ability to present to clients in business development situations Strategic insight, sound judgement and problem-solving skills - able to identify issues and resolve them (or make recommendations) Established understanding of pharmaceutical industry and medical communications sector Proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn Effective leadership abilities - lead, delegate and mentor
