Position

To be responsible for customer relationships and the management & smooth-running of projects through every part of the business, including external suppliers. To proactively communicate with customers to discuss previous and current projects whilst looking to grow each account with new opportunities and product/service offerings.

Main duties & targets

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with relevant customer stakeholders, ensuring they receive World Class customer service at all times.
  • Populate accurate job information into our MIS.
  • Raise accurate Purchase Orders for external suppliers.
  • Provide accurate work instructions to all internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered ‘on time in full’ (OTIF) and to the customers’ exact specifications.
  • Be focused on every aspect of a project schedule, ensuring that key event dates are correct and updated in a timely manner.
  • Promptly communicate schedule changes to all internal stakeholders whilst managing customers’ expectations on what can be achieved.
  • Identify, communicate, agree and document all additional costs, to be added to client invoice.
  • Manage all customer stock requirements and ensure they meet GI specifications. To ensure that all clients are in receipt of GI’s Delivery Specification document and that ‘overs’ stock is billed or recycled in a timely manner.
  • Instigate, analyse and share internal feedback, with a view to making improvements on future projects.
  • Work with GI Production & Sales and external suppliers to ensure that jobs are produced in the most efficient way, whilst ensuring that customer’s requirements are still met.
  • Invoice all projects within the agreed KPI.
  • Instigate and attend regular meetings with customers to cement relationships and discuss account performance, upcoming projects and opportunities.
  • Provide customers with regular business updates relating to both GI and the wider industry.
  • Provide technical support to customers, to help them achieve their outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Leadership teams regarding the protection of current projects & relationships and the opportunities for account growth.
  • To undertake any other reasonable tasks and responsibilities as requested by your Line Manager.
  • To undertake all working practices in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, rules laid out in the Company handbook and utilising all protective equipment as provided by the Company as required.
