Role Overview

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for ensuring the gold standard delivery of pan-regional client campaigns, audience strategy, and all supporting collateral across a variety of agency patches and teams. This role involves leading educational sessions, developing Account Managers (AMs), and maintaining an exemplary knowledge of products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the media landscape and will be adept at strategic decision-making with senior agency planners and independent clients across multiple countries. They will lead by example and ensure every client interaction with us is a positive one, resulting in continued growth for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Oversee the delivery of campaigns and responses to briefs, ensuring consistently high standards across the client portfolio while developing multi-market media plans aligned to client objectives and campaign KPIs.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop AMs, fostering their growth, enhancing their capabilities and ensuring we are collectively working towards delivering our objectives.
  • Educational Leadership: Lead agency surgeries and education sessions to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain an exemplary understanding of products and solutions, and apply this knowledge to address key client business challenges, with a view to continuous innovation and improvement.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges and providing strategic solutions, resulting in trusted, long term relationships and business growth.

Strategic & Commercial Acumen:

  • Proven experience in agency or account management, with a strong understanding of the media landscape, dynamics, and competition.
  • Ability to manage sales pipelines, forecast revenue, and apply data insights to solve client business challenges.
  • Strategic decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on achieving team and personal goals.

Client & Relationship Management:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining long-standing, valuable relationships with clients and agencies.
  • A track record of establishing high levels of client satisfaction, adept at navigating challenging conversations and proactive problem mitigation.

Leadership & Professional Excellence:

  • Demonstrable ability to work independently, lead by example, and maintain high standards across all tasks.
  • Experience in positively managing or mentoring team members and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Energetic, resilient, and proactive, with a keen eye for detail in media booking, finance, and delivery processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
