Role Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Practice Accountant to join a modern yet progressive accounting firm.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns.
- Meet with clients both on site and off site to perform sign off meetings for accounts and tax returns.
- Develop strong long-term relationships with clients through the management of your own small portfolio of clients.
- Increase the size of your portfolio by taking on new clients.
- Manage and train junior staff reporting to you.
Qualifications
- AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- A minimum of 3 years experience working in a UK practice environment is required.
- Knowledge of accounting software packages such as Sage 50, Xero and would be preferable.
- Strong accounts preparation skills.
- You will be a team player and have good all round experience of a practice environment and are willing to help out in all aspects of what the practice does.
- Good IT and communication skills.
- Good analytical skills including good command on Excel.
