The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll fully immerse yourself with our experienced accounts team, working closely with managers and directors to provide astute advice to our clients.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual to challenge themselves, develop, and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Collaboration with our clients to provide tailored advice for streamlining accounting processes
  • Building long-lasting, trusted relationships with clients
  • Preparation of year-end financial statements
  • Calculation of corporation tax and personal tax liabilities, with tax planning advice
  • Working alongside managers across other departments to support overall service delivery
  • Every-day service excellence by gaining a deep understanding of clients’ businesses
  • Leadership of accounts trainees, including coaching and mentoring them

Requirements & Skills

We are looking for an accountant who thrives on new challenges, with:

  • You'd be nearly qualified (ACA/ACCA) or recently qualified, with practical experience under your belt.
  • You have worked with a diverse range of clients, including SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
  • You are tech-savvy, particularly with CCH, a big plus.
  • Ability to flourish in a collaborative, progressive work environment.
  • A nurturing people person, with strong communication skills to connect with clients.
