Senior Accountant – Northampton – Up to £45K
Location: Northampton (Permanent) REF: 2046832127 Salary: Up to £45K (dependent on experience)

The Role – Senior Accountant
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accountancy & Tax Compliance – Handling financial accounts and related taxation for clients.
- Client Portfolio Management – Responsible for managing own workload, clients, and relationships (with partner oversight).
- Daily Client Interaction – Addressing queries, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Staff Development – Involvement in training and mentoring junior team members.
- Skill Expansion – Developing expertise in more complex tax and client matters.
- Problem-Solving – Efficiently resolving client and operational challenges.
- Workflow & Teamwork – Managing own and junior staff workflows, sharing best practices with other seniors.
- Self-Directed Work – Taking full responsibility for client management, workflow, and supervision.

Senior Accountant Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA).
- Training experience within a Chartered Accountancy practice.
- Proven expertise in accounts and tax compliance.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively – clients, colleagues, and team leaders.
- Independent, structured self-management – able to thrive with minimal supervision.
- Problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
