Job Opportunity: Senior Accountant

A successful accountancy practice based in Exeter is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, tax compliance across both personal and corporate tax along with overseeing VAT, bookkeeping, and a wider all-around role as key right-hand support to the firm's managers and partners. You will have increasing client management responsibility, develop teams, and progress in your career.

Based in Exeter, this well-established and successful firm acts for a wide range of clients across varying industries and turnover, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, SMEs, and OMBs. The firm has a good reputation and has been undergoing a sustained period of positive growth and they are looking to hire as a result of this. The firm also offers a supportive environment where you will be encouraged and supported to develop further in areas of technical interest.

Description

Joining as Senior Accountant based from the firm's Exeter offices, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of year-end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance, and oversee wider services, acting for clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will have increasing client management responsibility, help develop and mentor teams, and progress in your accountancy practice career within a successful and growing, chartered firm of accountants.

Profile

You may be qualified, or part/finalist across any of AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, etc., or have developed your career through experience only to date, with a career background within accounts/tax and all-around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide-ranging sole trade, partnership, and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size. You will have developed your career to around the Senior Accountant level and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity. Full or part-time working hours can be explored, moldable around the preferences of the right candidate.
