RFI Global – Senior Accounts Assistant (London, Hybrid)

The Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and hands-on Senior Accounts Assistant to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a truly global accounting role within a fast-growing, international multi-company environment, offering broad exposure and the chance to develop your experience across a diverse range of finance activities. The role is based in London, with a hybrid working pattern of two days per week in the office, reporting directly to the Finance Director.

You will play a key role in the day-to-day finance function, taking full responsibility for:

  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Managing general expense processing
  • Collaborating with team members across the business

This varied position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling supplier queries and statement reconciliations
  • Maintaining supplier and customer accounts
  • Efficiently issuing Sales Orders and customer invoices
  • Managing customer queries, debtor collections, and cash allocations
  • Assisting with month-end financial accounting tasks
  • Processing and reimbursement of staff expenses
  • Supporting payroll, taxes, super payments
  • Managing credit card transactions
  • Handling ad hoc office admin and filing for the finance team
  • Acting as a proactive member of the finance team
  • Supporting finance projects

  • At least two years’ experience in accounts, particularly in accounts payable/receivable, within a corporate environment
  • Studying towards (or considering) any accounting qualifications (competency via experience accepted)
  • Excellent English language, presentation, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Preferable: Experience in a multi-currency environment
  • Ability to learn new systems and concepts quickly
  • A plus: Experience with NetSuite
  • Strong computer and IT skills
