The Senior Accounts Assistant Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join their dynamic finance team. You’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day Purchase and Sales Ledger functions, working closely with the Financial Controller and Director of Finance to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
Purchase Ledger - Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and on time Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies Reconcile supplier statements and manage queries Execute payment runs and maintain supplier records Handle company credit card purchases and employee expenses Sales Ledger - Raise timely and accurate invoices Maintain customer records and credit limits Allocate customer receipts and resolve posting discrepancies Support aged debt reporting and credit control Banking & Month-End - Manage daily bank reconciliations Assist with cashflow reporting Support month-end processes and reconciliations
What We’re Looking For
Proficient in Sage 50 - ideally or cloud based software Experience in purchase & sales ledger, reconciliations, and payments Strong attention to detail and methodical working style Able to meet deadlines while managing routine tasks Approachable, professional, and solution-focused Self-motivated and a strong team player
