Senior Accounts Assistant – Music & Touring
London | Hybrid | Competitive salary, DOE

We're recruiting for a specialist firm working exclusively with music and entertainment clients, looking for a numerate, organised and conscientious Senior Accounts Assistant with music industry experience to join their Touring team.
You'll be maintaining the books and records for touring clients, working closely with artist management, booking agents, tour managers and insurers to support the day-to-day running of touring activities, from bank reconciliations through to sales invoicing and cashflow management.
Day to Day:
- Maintaining books and records on Sage Line 50/XERO, including bank and tour float postings, reconciliations, sales and purchase invoicing, credit card and agency statement reconciliation
- Reviewing outstanding debtors and creditors, assisting with collections and supplier statement reconciliation
- Completing VAT Returns in line with Making Tax Digital requirements
- Assisting with client onboarding and setting up client bank accounts
- Daily review of banking and cashflow, setting up approved bank payments
- Liaising with booking agents to gain contracts, raise sales invoices and send to promoters
- Communicating with record labels on tour support requests and back-end reporting
- Supporting cancellation insurance and withholding tax mitigation processes

About You

- MUST HAVE music industry experience
- Minimum 2 years' practice experience
- AAT Level 3/4, or studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- Confident managing timesheets, priorities and deadlines
- Effective communicator, comfortable liaising with clients, colleagues and third parties
- Uses own initiative
