Our client, a global property group, is looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team for an initial period of 4 - 6 months. You will provide administrative and transactional support across accounts receivable, credit control, and accounts payable. The successful candidate will have previous demonstrable experience in a similar operational finance role. This role requires an immediate start.
Description
The responsibilities of the Senior Accounts Assistant include but are not limited to:
- Provide support across accounts receivable, credit control, and accounts payable.
- Review and clear bank reconciliations and suspense accounts.
- Support with operational finance KPI and arrears reporting.
- Monitor and manage shared finance inboxes.
- Review and support PO raising and workflows, including amendments and follow up.
- Support invoice processing, customer billing, matching, and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate supplier and payment records.
- Assist with cash allocation activities.
- Support finance teams with ad-hoc queries, data requests, and operational tasks.
- Assist with legacy projects and backlog clearance.

Skills
The skills of the Senior Accounts Assistant include but are not limited to:
- Previous experience in an operational finance role in a large organisation.
- Previous experience of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control.
- Background in reconciliations, analysis, and purchase orders.
- Confident communicator with a proactive and team-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Previous experience using Yardi Voyager is advantageous.
