Job Introduction

🎧 Senior Acoustic Consultant

(Sound advice. Technical expertise. Creating better environments β€” by design.)

Acoustics Isn't Just About Measuring Noise.

πŸ”Ž What You'll Be Doing (And Why It Matters)

This is a varied consultancy role where technical knowledge, communication skills, and sound judgement are essential.

You'll

Manage and deliver environmental noise and vibration assessments Undertake building acoustics assessments and advise on acoustic design solutions Conduct noise monitoring surveys and analyse acoustic data Prepare high-quality technical reports in line with UK standards and guidance Undertake acoustic modelling using industry-standard software Support planning applications through detailed noise and vibration assessments Liaise directly with clients, architects, planners, local authorities, and project stakeholders Manage project budgets, resources, and programme delivery Mentor and support junior consultants and graduates Contribute to business development activities and maintain strong client relationships

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
