As B&M continues to expand its footprint across the UK, we're focused on securing the right locations to support our ambitious growth plans. With a strong pipeline of new store opportunities and continued investment in our estate, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of one of the UK's fastest-growing retailers.
Reporting to the Head of Real Estate & Development, the Senior Acquisition Manager will lead our acquisition strategy while managing and developing a team of Acquisition Managers. Combining hands-on deal making with strategic leadership, you'll ensure a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities, negotiate commercially advantageous terms, and help drive the successful delivery of our store rollout programme.
What you'll be doing:
Leading, coaching and developing a team of Acquisition Managers, creating a high-performance culture focused on delivering growth targets. Owning and driving the acquisition pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities that align with B&M's store formats, investment criteria and expansion strategy. Leading complex and high-value negotiations with landlords, developers and agents to secure commercially favourable terms and maximise value. Providing strategic oversight of lease structures, financial appraisals and investment decisions, ensuring commercial consistency and effective risk management. Working closely with Planning, Legal, Construction, Operations and Finance teams to ensure the seamless progression of sites from acquisition through to store opening.

What we're looking for:
A proven track record in retail property acquisition, delivering high-volume site acquisitions within a fast-paced commercial environment. Strong leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, develop and manage successful acquisition teams. Excellent negotiation, influencing and commercial decision-making skills, with experience managing complex property transactions. A well-established network across the retail property market, including agents, developers, landlords and key industry contacts. A strategic and commercially focused mindset, capable of balancing long-term growth objectives with the pace and demands of a dynamic retail business.
