Our client, a leading global marketplace is looking for a Senior Acquisition Manager to join their team.
THE ROLE OF SENIOR ACQUISITION MANAGER:
- Build and maintain a long-term acquisition roadmap across all channels: paid search/social, SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), programmatic, affiliates, creator-led, offline, and new discovery platforms.
- Define audience strategies, segmentation approaches, and growth hypotheses to expand reach and improve acquisition efficiency.
- Own channel mix decisions, budgeting and forecasting, and continuously rebalance based on performance.
- Explore opportunities to acquire users across all online and offline channels, using customer and industry data to identify, launch and measure campaigns.
- Lead day-to-day execution of digital campaigns across paid channels, ensuring rapid iteration and learning.
- Use A/B and multivariate testing frameworks to optimise landing pages, messaging, bidding strategies, and funnel performance.
- Take overall responsibility for the Acquisition budget and ensure a strong ROI across all campaigns.
- Work closely with the SEO & AEO Manager to deliver consistent growth across organic search and LLMs.
- Show leadership and innovation in the adoption of AI to scale work and increase efficiency.
- Oversee technical SEO, content strategy, backlink acquisition, schema optimisation, and AI/Search Engine shifts (SERP evolution, SGE, etc.), as executed by SEO & AEO Manager.
- Ensure the site is fully optimised for both traditional search and new generative AI discovery platforms.
- Define success metrics, build dashboards, and track performance across all acquisition channels.
- Analyse performance data and optimise the full acquisition funnel (awareness → conversion).
- Explore and implement new acquisition technologies (AI bidding tools, automation platforms, new ad formats, etc.).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE SENIOR ACQUISITION MANAGER ROLE:
- Proven track record in acquisition, growth or performance marketing for a fast-growth tech company or online start-up.
- Strong command of paid media, LLMs, SEO, experimentation design, and funnel analytics.
- An innovator, using data to identify and launch new channels for customer acquisition.
- Experience building acquisition engines from scratch or scaling channels rapidly.
- Analytical mindset with excellent Excel/Sheets and analytical tool capabilities, with experience using data to drive campaign optimisation.
- A doer mentality — willing to dive into campaigns, dashboards, or experiments directly.
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
- Leadership experience, including managing and developing small performance-focused teams.
- Knowledge of the digital marketplace industry is a plus.
