JOB TYPE: Permanent
INDUSTRY SECTOR: Online Marketplace / Classifieds / Digital Media
LOCATION: Predominantly Remote (1 day per fortnight in Central London Office)
SALARY: £75,000
Looking for a hands-on data-led consumer acquisition lead with strong SEO/AEO and Paid Media to step into a highly-autonomous growth role with a leading consumer marketplace.
About The Company
My client is a leading digital marketplace in the classifieds space, offering a platform where users buy and sell a wide variety of consumer goods, property, local services, and entertainment. While the marketplace covers a diverse range of categories, the majority of advertised services on the platform sit within the adult entertainment and independent companionship sector. As an industry leader in platform safety, they maintain a gold standard for safeguarding, investing heavily in technology and processes to ensure a secure, trusted, and stigma-free space for all advertisers.
Joining a close-knit marketing team, you will enjoy an entrepreneurial, solution-focused culture, high board-level visibility, and the creative freedom to treat the acquisition department as your own business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
What you'll be doing
- Lead full-funnel customer acquisition strategies across organic (SEO & emerging Answer Engine Optimisation/AEO) and paid performance channels (Google Performance Max, Meta, Criteo, Affiliates, and offline media)
- Develop and refine complex multi-channel attribution models to track customer journeys, measure channel interplay, and optimise return on ad spend (ROAS) and customer acquisition cost (CAC)
- Line manage and develop the SEO & AEO Manager, establishing clear channel strategies and setting high-impact KPIs for organic search
- Scale acquisition engines and unlock growth opportunities across key European markets
- Present performance, attribution insights, and strategic growth recommendations directly to senior leadership
- Test and deploy rapid experimentation, leveraging modern martech (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Search Console, SEMrush) and AI-driven bidding tools to drive conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional product, tech, and safety teams to align growth campaigns with gold-standard safeguarding and compliance standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
