Organisation: Leicestershire County County Work Location: Bassett Street, South Wigston, LE18 4PE Salary: £25,995 - £26,409 per annum (pro rata for part-time, pending new pay award) Working Hours: 37 hours per week Contract Type: Fixed-term, ending 31/3/2027 Closing Date: 7th July 2026 Interview Date(s): 29th July 2026
About The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrative Assistant to work within the HR & People Hub, Business Support Services Team, in Adults & Communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Hub Manager in delivering speciality services across Adults & Health & Cultural Services, ensuring an efficient and comprehensive business support system.
- Provide specialist technical knowledge for the assigned Hub, including extensive expertise in the department’s work and supported services.
About You
Essential Requirements
To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification in a relevant area, such as Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels.
- A strong understanding of information confidentiality, particularly in relation to GDPR.
- The ability to maintain flexibility, crisis management, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in complex IT systems and related software.
- Experience in taking comprehensive minutes, with a focus on using Microsoft applications.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to provide accurate advice in clear spoken English.
- Staying calm, focused, and professional under pressure.
