Operations Coordinator
Brighouse | Up to £30,000 | Full-Time, Permanent
Our client, a well-established engineering business based in Brighouse, is looking to recruit an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a highly varied role where no two days will be the same, offering the opportunity to become a key part of the business and support a wide range of operational and administrative activities. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of tasks and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
- Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm | 30 minute break
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Varied role within a successful engineering environment
As Operations Administrator, you'll provide essential support across the business, helping to ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently and compliantly.
Duties Will Include
- Conducting routine fire safety checks and supporting health & safety monitoring activities
- Ensuring company fleet vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant, including arranging MOTs, servicing and repairs
- Managing administration relating to lifting equipment inspections and certification
- Administering fuel cards and maintaining the fleet management system
- Booking and coordinating accommodation for staff as required
- Processing and coordinating month-end invoices
- Ordering PPE and maintaining stock levels
- Supporting a range of operational, compliance and office administration tasks
- Assisting with the smooth coordination of day-to-day business operations

About You
- Strong Administration experience
- Ideally from an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment
- Highly organised and able to manage a varied workload effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach
- Confident using Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel and Teams
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
