Location: Rowley Hall Hospital, Stafford Hours: 37.5 per week

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to join our team and support the optimisation of Outpatient capacity and clinic utilisation at Rowley Hall Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Head of Departments (HODs), and consultants to maximise Outpatient capacity and scheduling utilisation.
- Coordinate clinic management, ensuring seamless delivery of:
- Outpatient (OP) appointments
- OP procedures
- Admissions
- Revenue targets
- Drive the growth of Self Pay and Insured Outpatient activities across our sites.
- Design and execute bespoke clinic schedules per consultant, adding new online private appointment availability while maintaining optimal new-to-follow-up ratios using data-driven appointment allocation.
- Strengthen cross-functional partnerships with SLT, medical secretaries, and consultants, ensuring cultural engagement does not compromise appointment target delivery.
- Optimise consultant PMI (Provision of Medical Information) profiles and engagement to improve utilisation efficiency.
- Negotiate additional staff and consultant capacity to address short-notice cancellations or demand spikes, ensuring meeting utilisation mandates.
- Monitor and troubleshoot e-Referral Service (e-RS) and RTT (Ready, Willing & Able) pathways in collaboration with the Outpatients bookings team, proactively resolving issues.
- Identify and implement administrative process improvements that boost efficiency and performance.
- Compile and update the annual Consultant Directory to reflect current service information.
- Ensure all patient-facing displays align with clinical and commercial objectives, maintaining professional standards.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in hospital administration, including electronic booking systems.
- Strong customer service background with experience managing relationships between patients and consultant stakeholders.
Desirable Traits
- Experience applying analytical skills to healthcare scheduling challenges.
- Clinic scheduling expertise within NHS or private healthcare environments.
- Hands-on experience with consultant profile management and appointment logistical optimisation.
