Senior Administrator
Senior Administrator – Rochdale
FJA are working with an exceptional business based in the Rochdale area, seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to join their established team.
About the Role
The Senior Administrator will oversee office operations, ensuring all tasks adhere to deadlines, manage both internal and external queries, and maintain clear communication up to Director level. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, as it is the primary tool for core administrative and accounts functions.
Key progression opportunities exist within the role, with potential advancement to Office Manager over time.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute all administrative duties, meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Handle and resolve queries while escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain open communication with management and directors to provide business updates.
- Provide support across the team, occasionally assisting with accounts duties, including credit control.
- Assist junior administrators by escalating complex queries or resolving urgent issues.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment, ensuring varied administrative tasks are completed expertly.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within a busy, fast-paced business environment.
- Fluency in Microsoft Excel (essential).
- Knowledge of Sage is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisation.
- Ability to prioritise workloads independently.
