About The Role
At WWT, our conservation projects play a vital role in protecting and restoring wetlands, benefiting wildlife, communities, and the natural environment. To ensure these projects are delivered effectively and achieve their intended impact, we are seeking a highly organised Senior Administrator (Project Assurance) to support project delivery alongside the smooth operation of our project assurance systems and processes.
In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager (Assurance), Head of Wetland Services, and project teams across the Wetland Conservation Directorate to support the tracking, governance, and administration of a diverse portfolio of conservation projects. You will be expected to provide high-quality administrative assistance throughout the project lifecycle, help maintain project information, and assist the project assurance processes.
To do this, you will be expected to assist with project documentation (e.g., timesheets, grant claims, procurement, purchase orders, and invoicing), meeting coordination, and travel arrangements. Working across multiple teams, you will play an important role in ensuring project information is accurate, consistent, and accessible, helping colleagues make informed decisions.
About You
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys supporting the successful delivery of projects. You will have significant experience managing multiple priorities, coordinating meetings and activities, and providing high-level administrative support to a range of projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
