Senior Administrator/Business Support Officer

Are you an organised, proactive individual who enjoys variety and can confidently juggle multiple priorities? Our client in Southwark, London, is seeking a Senior Administrator/Business Support Officer to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. This is a varied role combining Business Support, Facilities and Front of House responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy office and supporting colleagues across the business.

The Details

  • Pay Rate: £15ph to £20ph (Perm salary £35,000 - £40,000)
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm
  • Hybrid: 1 day from home per week
  • Location: Southwark, London

Key Responsibilities

  • Formatting proposals and business documents to company branding standards (essential)
  • Project administration, travel booking and timesheet chasing
  • Managing POs and credit card expenses
  • Supporting bids and proposal submissions
  • Organising team, client and leaver events
  • Front of House and client services support
  • Setting up meeting rooms and ensuring office areas are maintained
  • Managing office supplies, refreshments and supplier orders
  • Escalating facilities and building management issues
  • Supporting Sustainability, Wellbeing and Health & Safety initiatives

About You

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • Experienced in document formatting, including numbering, images, layouts and branded proposals
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to multitask and prioritise between business support and facilities duties
  • Proactive, observant, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience within office support, facilities, reception or business support roles
  • Understanding of Health & Safety and when to escalate issues
