The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to lead new business growth across the UK Government and Public Sector market. This role will focus on selling solutions into central government departments, local authorities, public bodies, and arm’s-length organisations.
You will own complex, enterprise sales cycles, working with multiple stakeholders across legal, IT, procurement, and compliance functions, and positioning us as a trusted, long-term technology partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new logo acquisition within UK Government and Public Sector organisations, including central government, local authorities, and public bodies.
- Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, discovery, solution alignment, tender responses, negotiation, and close.
- Navigate and manage public sector procurement processes, including frameworks, RFPs, and competitive tenders.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across legal, information governance, IT, procurement, and security teams.
- Position our solutions around security, compliance, data sovereignty, and risk management.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver successful outcomes.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within CRM.
- Represent us at public sector events, briefings, and industry forums.

Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Senior Account Executive selling enterprise SaaS into UK Government or Public Sector organisations.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement, frameworks, and compliance-driven buying cycles.
- Track record of success managing long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable engaging senior decision-makers across legal, IT, information governance, and procurement.
- Experience selling security, compliance, or risk-led technology solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, structured, and able to operate effectively in a regulated environment.
