Focus of the Role
This role is for an experienced, hands-on senior developer who wants to be at the forefront of AI-powered software development. You will work predominantly on customer projects, designing and delivering production-grade solutions that integrate large language models, agentic systems, and Azure AI services into real-world applications. As a senior member of the team, you will not only build - you will help define and prove the way we deliver AI solutions to clients, setting the standards, patterns, and practices that the wider business will adopt.
If you are excited by vibe coding, AI-assisted development, and the rapidly evolving world of LLMs and autonomous agents - and you want to actually build with these technologies rather than just talk about them - this role is for you.
For the first 6-12 months this role will sit within the AI and Data Innovation team, where you will establish and prove a mature, repeatable pattern of AI-powered delivery. Once that model is proven, you will transition into the Delivery team, taking those patterns into mainstream client engagements and helping to scale them across the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
