Digital Futures is seeking a Senior AI Engineer who will be responsible for leading the design, build and operation of production‑grade AI solutions for clients, ensuring they are robust, scalable and secure across cloud and data platforms. The role provides technical leadership to AI and data engineers and sets engineering standards for AI delivery.

Key responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end engineering of AI products and platforms (including LLM, ML and automation use cases) from discovery through to production and ongoing optimisation. Define and own engineering standards, patterns and best practices for AI services, APIs, data pipelines and MLOps across cloud environments. Provide hands‑on technical direction to AI Engineers, ML Engineers and Data Engineers, including code reviews, solution design and troubleshooting. Collaborate with architects, product owners and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs. Ensure solutions meet non‑functional requirements including performance, reliability, observability, security and cost‑effectiveness. Champion continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling and automation within and across Expert Teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
