About The Role
As a Senior AI Engineer within the Workday Products division at Kainos, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between data science and software engineering. Your primary responsibility will be to productionize AI and machine learning solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and seamlessly integrated into our offerings. Working closely with data scientists, software developers, and product teams, you will develop and optimize AI models that enhance the functionality and user experience of our Workday solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology, contributing to innovative projects that have a meaningful impact on our clients and their digital transformation journeys.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code suitable for production environments.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML models, with a solid understanding of MLOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and cloud-native AI tools such as SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML Studio.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes will be beneficial.
- Experience in data engineering, building data pipelines, and integrating AI solutions with enterprise data systems.
- Experience working within agile teams and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional groups.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Deploying and maintaining AI models within our Workday Products ecosystem.
- Designing scalable AI solutions.
- Optimizing model performance.
- Ensuring the reliability and security of AI-driven features.
- Collaborating with data scientists to translate research prototypes into production-ready solutions, leveraging cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines.
- Supporting the integration of AI models with existing enterprise systems.
- Monitoring model performance to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Participating in code reviews, adhering to best practices in software development, and contributing to team knowledge-sharing activities.
- Staying updated on emerging AI technologies and industry trends to bring innovative ideas into the team’s projects.
