Senior AI Engineer (Python / TypeScript) – London to £240k+
Are you a skilled backend-focused Software Engineer with finance experience and a passion for AI?
You could be progressing your career at a Hedge Fund with complex work and substantial bonus earning potential.
As an AI Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the CTO and tech leadership team, introducing and driving the adoption of AI tools within the business. You’ll help establish the technical strategy but will be hands-on, implementing impactful change and influencing processes in a supportive role.

Location / Flexible Working
You’ll join colleagues in London’s impressive Central London office, with flexibility to work from home once a week.
About the Role
You’re a senior-level Software Engineer with a strong skillset in Python and TypeScript.
- You have a genuine passion for AI and are keen to explore its capabilities in financial settings, particularly within hedge funds, FinTech, or financial services.
- You possess a solid understanding of industry terminology and workflows.
- Your communication and stakeholder management skills are excellent—balancing technical detail with clear, impactful engagement.
- You hold a 2:1+ or equivalent degree in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university (e.g., Russell Group, Oxbridge).
