Senior AI Engineer
Paying up to £100,000 base + comprehensive benefits
Hybrid working – North & Central London (typically 3 days per week, with flexibility)
PE-backed Top 40 Professional Services Firm
I'm partnering with a rapidly growing, PE-backed accountancy and advisory business to hire a Senior AI Engineer into a newly expanded Transformation team. Following significant investment in technology and AI.
This is a highly visible position, working directly with senior leadership to deliver AI solutions that drive operational efficiency and business transformation.

The Role
- Design, build and deploy production-ready AI solutions across the business
- Develop AI agents and LLM-powered applications to automate complex business processes
- Lead automation initiatives across areas such as pricing intelligence, document processing and operational workflows
- Build AI solutions to support merger and acquisition integration and business transformation
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, gather requirements and deliver measurable business value
What They're Looking For
- 5+ years commercial experience with Python and modern AI engineering practices
- Experience building LLM-powered applications, AI agents or agentic workflows
- Solid understanding of data engineering, production deployments and scalable AI systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to senior non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, business-facing environment with high levels of ownership
- Experience within professional services, consultancy, financial services or another regulated industry would be advantageous
