Senior AI Engineer
Location: London - Hybrid (3 days in office) Salary: Up to £90,000 + 30% bonus
A globally recognised investment advisory firm managing $50B+ in assets is building a brand-new, in-house AI capability. They are looking to hire a hands-on AI Engineer to help shape it.
This is a high-impact role working directly with the CIO, Research and Operations teams to design and deploy production-grade Agentic AI and RAG systems across complex, unstructured financial documentation.
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain advanced RAG pipelines
- Build and evolve an in-house Agentic AI system
- Work with LLMs, vector databases and knowledge graphs
- Develop production APIs in Python
- Implement guardrails, evaluation frameworks and monitoring
- Translate real business problems into AI solutions

What We’re Looking For
- 1-2+ years’ experience in AI engineering
- 4 years experience in software, data or ML
- Formal educational training in AI / ML
- Strong Python skills
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks
- Experience with LLMs in production
- Experience with RAG, vector databases and agent frameworks
- Comfortable owning projects end-to-end
- Curious, driven and passionate about AI
- Microsoft/Azure environment ideally.
- Financial services experience is a plus but not essential.
