Senior AI-First Full Stack Engineer

The MRJ team have partnered with a genuinely exciting technology business at the forefront of workforce innovation as they embark on the next phase of their AI journey.

This isn't a company trying to figure out what AI means. The vision, platform and investment are already in place. What comes next is where things get interesting.

We're looking for a highly capable Senior Full Stack Engineer who embraces an AI-first approach to software development. Someone who leverages tools like Claude, Cursor and modern LLMs to increase engineering velocity, accelerate experimentation and deliver high-quality products faster.

This role isn't about building foundation models or conducting academic AI research. It's about applying AI pragmatically to solve real business problems, create intelligent product experiences and help shape how software is built inside a modern technology business.

The Opportunity

You'll join a small, high-impact AI R&D team focused on evaluating, building and scaling AI capabilities across the wider platform.

You'll be given the freedom to experiment, prototype and challenge conventional approaches, helping identify where AI can genuinely create value for customers and the business. We're looking for the type of engineer whose ideas often start with: "I wonder if we could..."...and usually end with a working prototype a few hours later.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
