I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Do
- Own client projects end-to-end, translating complex research and client requirements into visually stunning interfaces and interactive prototypes for data-rich AI products.
- Present design solutions directly to founders and C-suite stakeholders, confidently articulating decisions while navigating the ambiguity of zero-to-MVP builds and product turnarounds.
- Drive internal innovation by researching new technologies and experimenting with AI-driven workflows and "Vibe Coding" practices to evolve the studio’s design systems.
The ideal candidate
- Possesses over 5 years of digital product design experience, ideally within startups or agencies, with a portfolio demonstrating high-level craft in complex, data-heavy product environments.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of foundational design principles for AI and algorithmic outputs, with the ability to zoom between high-level product vision and detailed execution.
- Thrives in autonomous, impact-driven settings and is eager to play an active role in business growth, culture-building, and evolving the agency's creative methodology.
