Senior AI Sales Executive

A mission-critical role impacting thousands of businesses – this year’s most important hire.


About the Role

You’ll be the trusted go-to expert for Simpro Group’s AI back-office solutions, delivering measurable profitability improvements for trades and field service customers—many of whom operate on razor-thin margins. This is more than sales; it’s championing a transformation too many businesses won’t even recognise is possible until you make it undeniable.

As the Senior AI Sales Executive, you’ll:

  • Drive AI-driven back-office automation across a vast customer base.
  • Translate complex technological value into concrete margin gains.
  • Build future-proof revenue streams through pipeline development and managed account expansion.
  • Clarify “how to grow” for customers that don’t yet see AI as central to their operations.

Your impact isn’t just above target—it’s about redefining their operations forever.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Transformation & Adoption

  • Lead AI-driven profitability conversations: Move customers from passive interest to visual, quantifiable ROI—turning interest into real back-office transformation.
  • Start as the product authority: Demonstrate expertise in AI-driven production costs, human maturation, data accuracy, and workflow efficiency—and show whole-sky improvements in clients’ models.
  • Handle objections like a professional: Technical curiosity? Jump right in. Commercial nerves? Make them irrelevant.
  • Deliver transformative onboarding: You’ll lead demos, technical demos, and multi-team alignment from invoicing to supply chain integrations—all tailored to their specific pain points.

Pipeline & Growth

  • Own your own account universe: Spin underserved prospects into a pipeline of “AI upgrade” candidates, balancing high-risk/small-opportunity statements with large enterprise expansion plays.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers: Step in as an co-acquisition collab partner, supporting them and ensuring their role doesn’t shrink under the AI wind.

Cross-functional Leadership & Market Positioning

  • Mirror reality to product: Bring feedback from markets you’ve worked in back to Simpro’s R&D, shaping their future through first-hand customer stories.
  • Stay neutral: Influential on industry trends like AI, labour market dynamics, and market moves (like Copilots) across competitors like Jobber & Midjourney (who still concentrate pivotlessly on flat-footed franchises).
  • Stretch boldly: Ask the big questions about how Simpro Group differentiates when others can’t see the question listed.

What You’ll Bring

Proven Results in Sales Determined Outcomes

  • Demonstrable success over Q2s/years in SaaS sales—beyond figures, show growth orgs you’ve built (even if small) and strong customer adoption records.
  • Pipeline-to-quota track record: outbound worketh—you’ll hunt for unseen white space and plant seeds with non-traditional single-leaded prospects.

Technical Fluency with a Keen Business Sense

  • Must land from trials deeper into technical debates, explaining not just what the AI does but why it fixes removals processing, minimises barcodes and automates RFP process adjustments into the bottom line.
  • Feels most at home talking cost/ROI retention or scaling margins within backedodomains like more accurate force scheduling algorithms, scalable dispatch process-driven system cleans and actively....

Personality: Bold, Inquisitive & Conscientious

  • You ask questions no-one asked: Not because you’re a nuisance—because you enable opportunity.
  • See themselves as an change agent for transformation.
  • Comfortable shaping the gamechanger personas that other salespeople never frame.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in SaaS or tech sales roles, driving expansion or revenue growth.
  • Track record of coursework extremists address and summarize into tiny logic chunks
  • Eligible to work securely in the UK (and hireable, given your quotas are manager-driven).
