Senior Software Engineer

(AI Systems & Agentic Workflows)

Central Manchester (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Up to £75,000 DOE + Bonus

We’re partnering with a fast-growing SaaS marketplace transforming the Sport & Events industry through a high-scale AI-Enabled e-commerce platform. With strong growth momentum and continued investment in technology, they’re now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design and build AI-powered systems across the business.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building brand new AI-enabled systems, agentic workflows, and internal AI systems using platforms such as Claude and other leading LLM providers. You’ll help shape how AI is embedded across the product and operations stack.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build AI-powered systems using TypeScript, Node.js and React
  • Design and implement agentic AI systems and workflows for automation and operational efficiency
  • Build AI system architecture including orchestration, tool use, memory, and workflow design
  • Develop scalable backend services and APIs supporting AI-driven features
  • Identify and deliver high-impact AI use cases across product and operations
  • Help define best practices for AI evaluation, monitoring, and governance
  • Take ownership of features from concept through to production
