Laboris Solutions are working with an expanding client expanding their team and seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to work across commercial and domestic sites throughout Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. The Role
As a Senior Air Conditioning Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair, and fault diagnosis of a wide range of air conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- ✅ Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- ✅ Reactive breakdown attendance and fault diagnosis
- ✅ Service, repair, and maintenance of:
- Split Systems
- Multi-Split Systems
- VRF / VRV Systems
- Commercial Air Conditioning Equipment
- ✅ Identify and resolve technical faults efficiently
- ✅ Complete digital service reports and compliance documentation
- ✅ Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support
- ✅ Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance
- ✅ Work independently while supporting a collaborative engineering team

What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- ✔ Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Service Engineer, HVAC Engineer, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer
- ✔ Strong fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair experience
- ✔ Experience working on both commercial and domestic HVAC systems
- ✔ F-Gas / Refrigerant Handling Certification (C&G 2079 or equivalent)
- ✔ NVQ Level 2 or above in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- ✔ Full UK Driving Licence
- ✔ Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- ✔ Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively
Desirable Skills
- ⭐ Experience using Daikin Service Checker software
- ⭐ Knowledge of refrigeration systems and cold-room equipment
- ⭐ IPAF, PASMA, or CSCS certification
- ⭐ Experience with leading manufacturers including Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, Toshiba, LG, Samsung, and Panasonic systems
- ⭐ Strong understanding of HVAC compliance and industry best practice
