We are looking for an experienced senior air conditioning and refrigeration service engineer to join Oxford Air Conditioning.

This is a hands-on senior role for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent fault-finding skills and the confidence to work independently. You will maintain, repair and troubleshoot a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment for commercial and domestic customers.

The work is varied and includes planned maintenance, servicing, reactive repairs and occasional emergency breakdowns. You will also use your experience to provide technical support, lead colleagues when required and help our office team prepare accurate quotations for remedial work.

Salary: From £42,000 per year, depending on experience

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

On-call rota: None

Location: On the road

No agencies, please.

Applicants must hold the essential qualifications listed below.

Where you will work

During your first few months, you will travel across our client locations to become familiar with the different sites, systems and equipment we support.

Once you are familiar with our customer base, most of your work will be based across Oxfordshire. From time to time, you may need to travel to other areas to support colleagues or meet business requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
