📍 Job Title: Senior AIV Engineer 📍 Location: London 📍 On-site requirement: 1–2 days per month ✅ Security Clearance: Clearable 🎯 Experience Level: Senior
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain _AIV (Assembly, Integration and Verification)_ plans for spacecraft projects.**
- Coordinate integration and verification activities across subsystems and teams.
- Plan resources and schedules to meet project milestones.
- Prepare, maintain, and operate test environments and test rigs.
- Manage hardware models, electrical layouts, and harness assemblies.
- Ensure configuration management for all test equipment and software.
- Support troubleshooting of hardware/software issues during testing.
- Monitor test progress, document results, and report on milestone achievements.
- Drive continuous improvement of AIV methods, tools, and processes.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.

📚 Qualifications & Requirements
✔ Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in AIV or spacecraft integration and verification roles.
- Strong space project experience (mandatory).
- Experience preparing and executing test campaigns for complex systems.
- In-depth knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and interfaces.
✔ Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (equivalent military experience in related fields welcome).
🔍 Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with electrical harnesses, hardware assembly, and test rigs.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior configuration management and test reporting experience.
