Senior Settlements Analyst
Location: London (hybrid working)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
Are you an experienced electricity settlements or metering professional looking for your next challenge?
We're recruiting on behalf of a growing and ambitious UK energy business looking to strengthen its Settlements team with a Senior Settlements Analyst. This is an opportunity to become the technical expert within the team, playing a key role in electricity settlements, metering operations and industry change initiatives, including Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS).
Working closely with internal teams and external industry parties, you'll provide technical expertise, resolve complex settlement and metering issues, improve operational processes and help shape the future of the function.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as the technical expert for electricity settlements and metering activities.
- Leading and supporting MHHS readiness and post-migration operational processes.
- Managing complex settlement, metering and industry data flow queries.
- Supporting new connections, meter exchanges, site works and disconnections.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, MOPs, DCs, DNOs and other industry participants.
- Reviewing, developing and improving operational processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Assessing the impact of industry and regulatory changes on business operations.

What we're looking for
Essential
- Strong experience within electricity settlements or metering, gained with an energy supplier or Meter Operator (MOP).
- Excellent understanding of industry data flows (D Flows).
- Strong knowledge of UK electricity industry processes and settlement arrangements.
- Confident communicator who can build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable managing your own workload with minimal supervision.
- A natural problem solver with excellent attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.

Desirable
