Senior Analyst, Account Management

Our Global Commercial Payments team is seeking strategic, consultative professionals who are passionate about building client relationships, driving growth, and delivering innovative payment solutions. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with commercial acumen, resilience, intellectual curiosity, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders and deliver results. We align our team to compete and differentiate on the basis of customer intimacy, product and solution strength, and partnership orientation.

As part of the Citi Account Team (CAT), you will support the Mastercard–Citi partnership across Citi’s Global Commercial Cards business. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will help execute joint strategies, coordinate key initiatives, and contribute to delivering innovative payment solutions that create meaningful value for both organizations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and working collaboratively across teams. The successful candidate will be proactive, well-organized, commercially minded, and eager to develop their knowledge of the commercial payments and cards industry.

The Role

  • Support the growth and development of Mastercard's strategic relationship with Citi's Global Commercial Card business.
  • Assist in the execution of account plans and commercial strategies designed to grow, diversify, and strengthen the partnership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Mastercard and Citi.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer value and support the development of business cases and commercial proposals.
  • Interface with key cross-functional partners such as Product, Risk, Finance, Legal, Franchise, AML, and other internal stakeholders to support client initiatives and strategic priorities.
  • Monitor account performance, support governance activities, and help track progress against key objectives.
  • Support customer meetings, business reviews, and strategic discussions, helping to drive action and follow-through.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the commercial payments landscape, Mastercard's capabilities, and Citi's business priorities.

All About You

  • An enthusiastic people-person with a curious mind and a penchant for problem-solving
  • An understanding of the payments ecosystem and commercial card experience
  • Comfortable building relationships and managing both internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholder expectations.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
  • Results-oriented and ability to perform in a fast-paced, high intensity and changing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Based in London, with flexibility to travel as required.
