Senior Analyst / Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven and talented individual to join our team as Senior Analyst / Associate to support our investment team. You will work in our London office, reporting to the CEO & Investment Director and collaborating closely with the entire team, sourcing and analysing new investment opportunities, supporting deal execution, and reporting on portfolio performance.

We are a small team, offering an opportunity to take on significant responsibility from Day 1 and help guide our fund as it grows. The ideal candidate will be proactive, open to new ideas, eager to challenge and be challenged, and excited by the prospect of shaping something entirely new.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst / Associate, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify and prioritize potential investment themes and sectors
  • Building and maintaining a network of founders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts
  • Proactively sourcing and screening new investment opportunities, and conducting initial due diligence
  • Supporting the deal team in preparing investment memos, financial models, and term sheets
  • Participating in deal execution and portfolio management, including:
    • Attending board meetings
    • Providing operational support
    • Tracking key metrics
  • Contributing to the firm’s thought leadership and brand awareness through:
    • Writing blog posts
    • Creating newsletters
    • Sharing content on social media

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Consulting or VC (alternatively in Private Equity (PE), M&A, or Family Office), with exposure to the sports, technology, or consumer sectors
  • A strong academic background
  • Experience working in deal teams
  • A passion for entrepreneurship and innovation, alongside a keen interest in:
    • Sport
    • Emerging technologies
    • Trends
  • Excellent analytical, financial, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • High level of initiative, curiosity, and creativity, with a willingness to learn and handle feedback
  • A collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset, complemented by a positive and professional attitude
