Senior Workforce Analyst (12-Month FTC) – Prague

As a Senior Workforce Analyst, your work will directly impact Expedia Group’s bottom line by leveraging statistical modeling, data analysis, and predictive forecasting to guide strategic decision-making.

Key Objectives

- Translate complex analytics into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously improve processes and drive measurable operational improvements.
Responsibilities
Core Tasks
- Data-Driven Forecasting & Analysis
- Develop and maintain demand, workload, and staffing forecasting models using historical data.
- Monitor forecast variance and recommend solutions for mitigating operational risks.
- Strategic Collaboration
- Partner with finance, business leaders, and vendor teams to align forecasts with organization goals.
- Identify workload reductions and productivity gains through data analysis.
- Risk & Performance Assessment
- Analyze staffing levels to ensure operational stability.
- Develop action plans to mitigate risks and optimize workforce efficiency.
- Continuous Process Improvement
- Utilize system reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau) to analyze current trends.
- Pinpoint savings and improvements through trend analysis and predictive scenarios.
- Clear Communication & Documentation
- Present complex findings simply, empowering leaders with actionable strategies.
- Create detailed documentation (workflows, process guidelines, reports) for business teams.

Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Proven forecasting/planning experience in a high-volume environment.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Salesforce, Tableau).
- Familiarity (or preference for) statistical modeling languages/toolboxes (e.g., R, SAS, Python).
- Analytical mindset – ability to: detect root causes, tackle data across sources, and propose business solutions.
- Partnering expertise – proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Transparency & influence – skill to present recommendations to senior leadership and secure organizational alignment.
- Effective communication – ability to translate technical insights for non-analytical audiences.
- Adaptable approach – tailoring expertise to custom business challenges.
- Education – degree (or equivalent) in a STEM/analytical field.
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll interact with:
- Internal partners (Finance, Operations, Vendor Management).
- Leadership teams, shaping strategy based on your insights.
- Technical and non-technical teams across Expedia’s globally distributed customer business brands (Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo).
Compensation
The total annual cash range for this role falls between ₱772,500 and ₱1,081,500, with potential maximum earnings rising to ₱1,236,000 upon sustained top performance.
Note: Salary is based on your location (Prague), budget allocation, and skills—additional factors input into the final offer under ongoing review for transparency and accountability.
