About the Role
As a Senior Workforce Analyst (12-month FTC), you’ll play a high-impact, data-driven role that directly influences operational efficiency, financial strategy, and business growth. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholder engagement, and bold recommendations—all grounded in actionable insights derived from advanced modelling, statistical analysis, and forecasting.
You will:
- Partner with business stakeholders—finance, vendors, and senior leadership—to align data and strategies while ownership analytical rigor.
- Develop, refine, and maintain forecast models (demand, workload, staffing) using historical and real-time data.
- Proactively enforce data hygiene and adjust models to reflect evolving processes and metrics.
- Identify cost-saving and productivity-enhancing opportunities through data trend analysis.
- Mitigate operational risks by analysing staffing levels and implementing targeted improvements.
- Present findings to non-technical audiences in clear, structured formats—bridging gaps between data and business impact.
- Document processes, workflows, and instructions to standardise internal operations.
- Apply data-driven storytelling to enhance decision-making across business lines.
This is a visibility-driven role with direct influence on Expedia Group's bottom line.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis & Modeling
- Build and maintain demand and staffing forecast models using advanced statistical techniques.
- Apply data mining tools (SQL, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) to uncover trends and anomalies.
- partner with cross-functional teams to diagnose variance drivers and propose corrective actions.
- Utilise R, SAS, or Python (where applicable) to extract insights from datasets.

Operational Efficiency
- Identify wasteful processes via data insights, evaluating workload distribution.
- Lead data-backed reviews to improve productivity and reduce overhead.
- Monitor recommendations’ outcomes and refine strategies as needed.
Process Improvement
- Audit business operations using reporting tools and leverage findings for continuous optimisation.
- Develop target-setting frameworks and performance benchmarking methodologies.
- Work with vendor management teams to align service-level agreements with dataEvidence.
Collaboration & Communication
- Translate complex data findings into strategic recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
- Lead discussions with senior leadership to build consensus on high-impact initiatives.
- Improve internal system documentation to enhance clarity and explain problems/solutions in approachable formats.
Qualifications & Experience

| Education | Degree or equivalent. |
| Technical Skills | Advanced Excel (advanced features, pivot tables, etc.), SQL, and Tableau (essentials); experience with Salesforce is a plus. Proficiency with one or more of: R, SAS, or Python for statistical models. |
| Professional Experience | Strong planning/forecasting background in operational or financial analysis. |
| Analytical Mindset | Problem-solving driven by curiousity, rooted in business goals. Argues cases based on raw and derived data. |

| Communication | Strong verbal and written skills to break down technical insights for non-technical audiences. |

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range (Fixed-Term Contract): Kč 772,500.00 – Kč 1,081,500.00 (with flexibility to pay up to Kč 1,236,000.00 based on performance and tenure).
