About the Role

Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas (“LNG”). The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas, supporting clean and reliable energy supplies through innovative plant design and proven technology. This role aligns with Venture Global’s mission to drive operational excellence through Continuous Improvement (CI).

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Analyst, Continuous Improvement based in Cameron.


Summary

The Senior Analyst, Continuous Improvement will lead performance improvement initiatives across procurement, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations. This high-impact role leverages Lean principles, structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and data-driven problem-solving to enhance:

  • Safety
  • Quality
  • Reliability
  • Cost efficiency

Reporting to the Senior Director of Continuous Improvement, this position collaborates closely with Quality, HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment), Operations, and Supply Chain to:

  • Identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure effective CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) execution
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Continuous Improvement Leadership

  • Lead and facilitate CI and RCA projects, focusing on:
    • Defect elimination
    • Cost reduction
    • Reliability improvement
  • Standardize tools (e.g., templates, reporting) across the organization.
  • Ensure CAPA actions are well-defined, implemented, and validated.
  • Prioritize and drive cross-functional initiatives aligned with business performance goals.

2. Defect, Waste & Risk Reduction

  • Analyze data to uncover:
    • Quality risks
    • Cost inefficiencies
    • Safety hazards
  • Partner with functional leaders to implement sustainable root-cause solutions.
  • Target reductions in:
    • Cost of Quality (COQ)
    • Process variability
    • Environment & safety risks

3. Knowledge Management & Lessons Learned

  • Maintain a centralized knowledge repository documenting:
    • RCA outcomes
    • CAPA execution
    • Improvement projects
  • Facilitate lessons-learned sharing across business units.
  • Embed CI insights into:
    • Design standards
    • SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
    • Training programs

4. Culture & Capability Building

  • Train & coach teams on:
    • Lean methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, 8D, Fishbone)
    • Structured problem-solving tools (e.g., A3 framework).
  • Inspire a proactive, data-driven culture with:
    • Transparency
    • Accountability
    • Continuous learning

5. Performance Management

  • Track CI KPIs and project performance.
  • Quantify financial/operational gains from process improvements.
  • Provide leadership with:
    • Dashboards
    • Metrics
    • Progress updates

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required in:
    • Engineering
    • Quality Management
    • Operations
    • Relevant business discipline

Experience

  • 5+ years in CI, Quality, or Operations within:
    • LNG
    • Oil & gas
    • Heavy manufacturing
  • Proven track record leading RCA and CI initiatives with quantifiable outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • CAPA management
    • Process optimization
    • Defect root-cause elimination

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in:
    • Lean tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping)
    • Structured problem-solving frameworks
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt) highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in:
    • Data analysis
    • Facilitation
    • Communication

Leadership Attributes

  • Collaborative and influential, excelling in cross-functional contexts.
  • Results-driven, with a reputation for disciplined execution.
  • Passionate about operational excellence and accountability.
