Role Summary: Senior Analyst, Global Commercial
The Global Commercial team plays a crucial role in driving the financial and operational success of WPP Media’s international client accounts. We manage:
- Contract negotiations
- Revenue forecasting
- Profitability analysis
- Contract compliance
We foster profitable growth by collaborating closely with:
- Internal stakeholders (client teams and finance)
- External partners (clients’ media and procurement teams)
This role offers hands-on experience across:
- Data analysis and reporting
- Project coordination
- Dynamic, fast-paced environments

You’ll:
- Collaborate with experienced commercial managers
- Develop analytical skills
- Gain a deep understanding of global media operations
- Engage directly with clients

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, cleanse, analyse, and present commercial data.
- Summarise key findings, including:
- Creating graphs and presentations.
- Maintain and own internal databases/trackers, ensuring:
- Data accuracy
- Accessibility and integrity
- Deliver timely reporting in line with deadlines.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Build relationships with market teams by:
- Collecting and consolidating key financial and commercial data.
- Develop expertise in:
- Client contracts, including:
- Remuneration models
- Contractual structures (local vs. global)
- Billing structures, payment terms, and performance-related fees
- Client contracts, including:
- Support commercial managers in client meetings.
Business Growth & Compliance
- Assist in commercial proposal development for new business opportunities.
- Consolidate and maintain accountability for all information requests.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and support to commercial managers and the team.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to identify patterns and draw conclusions.
Requirements & Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mastery of pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).
- Financial concepts understanding (e.g., revenue, costs, profit).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and hybrid working adaptability.
