Who You’ll Work With
This critical role will support Bain’s Global People Analytics (GPA) and Global Workforce Planning (WFP) teams, acting as a key partner to drive analytics, reporting, and strategic insights across talent acquisition and workforce planning processes.
You’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership (including Global/Regional Talent Acquisition, HR, and Finance teams) as well as local recruiting groups—translating complex business needs into actionable reports, dashboards, and data-driven solutions.
Your focus will span two core areas:
- Talent Acquisition (TA) Decision Support: Enabling standardised reporting and stakeholder insights to streamline global hiring processes.
- Workforce Planning (WFP) Advancement: Developing headcount planning tools and driving capacity strategy decisions to align with Bain’s growth goals.
What You’ll Do
Support Talent Acquisition Reporting & Product Development (25%)
- Work with Visier Talent Acquisition product teams to design, develop, and launch key data tools and user-facing reports.
- Partner with global, regional, and local stakeholders to align use cases and reporting strategy across diverse teams.
- Define and execute reporting requirements, translating stakeholder inputs into dashboard designs.
- Develop training materials, guides, and rollout plans for new analytical tools.
- Validate data integrity, accuracy, and usability of new reports with end-users.

Stakeholder Engagement & TA Process Management (25%)
- Drive cross-regional alignment on data definitions, reporting methods, and recruiting KPIs.
- Collect and prioritise reporting needs independently, liaising with product teams to establish priorities.
- Iterate with global/regional/local Recruiting teams to refine report delivery and execution.
- Engage junior stakeholders to gather insights and collaborate on roadmap reviews.
- Own 'User Advocate' role to proactively collect feedback and identify product enhancement opportunities.
Workforce Planning Analytics & Capacity Insights (40%)
- Deliver advanced ad hoc and annual headcount cycle analysis (e.g., performance vs planning, pressure-testing scenarios).
- Provide data-driven insights to inform capacity and strategic headcount adjustments.
- Design innovative reports to track fill rates, upcoming talent gaps, and trend identification across diverse data sources (Recruiting, Finance, WFP).
- Enhance automation in data collection ({e.g., linking local HR systems, FIN strategies, and WFP projections}).
- Translate business questions into sophisticated analytical plans and dashboard layouts.
- Implement a new reporting tool focused on targeting relativities (FIN/TA/Hiring).
Subject Matter Expertise & Process Optimization (10%)
- Average ad hoc data requests, ensuring deep discoveries across datasets.
- Define refined data-gathering methodologies with stakeholders, leveraging existing tools where possible.
- Identify trends in analytical failures and recommend process improvements (e.g., report prioritisation via Agile sprints).
- Demonstrate thought leadership on Talent Acquisition Analytics (methodology, technical benchmarks, global alignment).
- Proactively restructure processes to boost efficiency, automation, and collaboration with AI tools.
- Balance backend optimisation with end-user needs—presenting dashboards in a collaborative environment.
About You
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or related fields).
- At least 4 years of professional experience in:
- Data analytics, workforce analytics, HR analytics, BI, or SQL-based research.
- Reporting on large datasets with people-business alignment.
- Business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level) for advanced queries and modelling.
- Strong storytelling skills to deliver insights actionably.
- Analytical expertise and problem-solving drive for multi-stage projects.
- Excellent written/oral collaborative skills with agile-style teams (OODA loops).
- Willingness to travel and adapt to time zones as needed.
- Attention to confidentiality and subject matter complexity.

Location & Workstyle
This position operates in hybrid mode, requiring 2 days office, 3 days remote weekly.

Compensation (U.S. Locations)
- Base pay + discretionary performance bonuses
- 401(k) contribution (4.5% directly vested)
