Birmingham City Football Club

Permanent | Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Location: St Andrew’s Stadium

Birmingham City Football Club is on the rise.

With an incredible history dating back to 1875, Birmingham City Football Club is part of an exciting period of accelerated growth and modernisation, and is playing its part in once-in-a-generation opportunity to support the transformation of England’s second city as part of the Sports Quarter project.

With significant investment across our football, commercial, and community operations, we are rebuilding the Club for long-term success — on and off the pitch. The journey we’re on involves strengthening our structures, elevating our performance environments, growing our teams, and investing heavily in the people, processes and culture that will define the next chapter of Birmingham City FC.

We are looking for a Senior Analyst – Strategy & Innovation to play a key role in shaping the club’s future. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic, data-driven analyst to support digital transformation, enhance fan experience, and deliver insight-led innovation across the club.

The Role

Reporting into the Strategy & Innovation function, you will help drive high-impact projects that improve how Birmingham City operates, engages supporters, and delivers long-term value.

You will bring strong analytical capability, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate data into meaningful strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Transformation Support

    • Monitor digital trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities to modernise club operations and improve performance.
  • Fan & Customer Experience Analysis

    • Analyse supporter behaviour, feedback and engagement data to support strategies that enhance the end-to-end fan experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
