The Role: TMT Senior Analyst
The GlobalData Technology Team is looking for a TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecoms) Senior Analyst to provide actionable insights for their global clients, supporting informed business decisions. This full-time, Central London-based position is ideal for a recent graduate with strong quantitative skills interested in a career in TMT.
Responsibilities
- Produce and update market-sizing reports and forecasts across the TMT sector (mobile, fixed broadband, pay TV, and entertainment).
- Conduct investigative, forecasting, and both secondary and primary research (interviews, surveys, and expert engagements).
- Use phone interviews and surveys with KOLs, industry experts, and tech specialists globally.
- Analyze TMT market segments (mobile, fixed broadband, and entertainment) and develop strategic forecasts.
- Contribute to the scope and methodology of high-quality market analysis deliverables.
- Author research reports and thought leadership articles on current market trends.
- Ensure well-written, concise, and timely content delivery.
- Engage clients, represent GlobalData at meetings, conferences, and media interactions.
- Address ad hoc client inquiries.
- Support the TMT syndicated research platform’s development.

Requirements and Qualifications
Essential:
- Degree (or equivalent) in business, finance, strategy, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with number-heavy data analysis supported by Excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new concepts.
Preferred (Not Mandatory but a Plus):
- Prior work or research experience in technology/telecom sectors.
- Non-essential but advantageous: multilingual proficiency.
